Neal Schon, lead guitarist for Journey has put his new girlfriend Michaela Salahi in the band’s new video “Resonate.” Some fans are complaining. I know what that’s like because I gave in to the pressure myself back in the 80′s and featured my 2nd wife in the video for “Lucky.” Too bad the marriage wasn’t as successful as the video. Would you put your significant other in your video?
I didn’t stop there, she was also featured in the videos for “Love and Rock & Roll” and “Boy’s Won’t Leave The Girls Alone.” It’s amazing what the power of love can do… make that the power of sex.
That marriage didn’t last very long at all, but I guess it just wasn’t in the cards. In all honesty, I was no day at the beach back then, and I suppose she wasn’t entirely happy with the state of affairs but I was too busy being Joe Rockstar and acting like a jerk. I was hard to control in those days. Drugs didn’t help either. But, you live and learn. If I had it to do all over again… I don’t think either of us would.
For the record- that divorce it was 99% my fault!
