I just printed my boarding pass for the flight tomorrow morning to Phoenix where we catch a van for a 90 minute drive to Castle Rock Casino. The Greg Kihn Band in all its glory is playing at the Cliff Castle Casino tomorrow night, outdoors under the stars at the Stargazers Pavilion. We are not alone on this venture- two of my favorite 80’s bands are playing with us and (get this) both of them have female lead singers. I’m talking about Scandal featuring Patti Smyth and Berlin featuring Terri Nunn. This is going to a great gig- the band is rehearsed and tight and ready to blow the socks off of these dusty Arizonians. If you’re looking for a fun weekend adventure, you couldn’t do better than this. Have some fun, do some gambling, see the show, and have a great dinner.
