The excitement is building for the gig this weekend at Thunder Valley Casino with Huey Lewis and the News.  The two bands have played together many times over the years.  I’ve been friends with Huey going all the way to back the beginnings with Clover at Uncle Charlie’s in Corte Madera.  The two bands fit together musically and the gig should be a lot of fun.  Huey does a great show, chock full of hits, plus a killer a capella version of “It’s All Right.”  If you’ve never seen them, you are in for a treat.  Of course, the Greg Kihn Band will be loaded for bear.  My son, Ry Kihn, is itching to get onstage Friday night, new drummer (from Sammy Hagar) Dave Lauser, and Robert Berry (no relation to Chuck), are really cookin’ these days.  They are a well-oiled rock and roll machine.  I guarantee a great show.  Of course, we’ll be doing all our hits, some jamming, and a few songs from our new CD REKIHNDLED.  I’ve been hearing great things about Thunder Valley Casino.  It’s a wonderful venue to see a show.  Outdoors under the stars, and it’s not that far away from the Bay Area.  I’ll be doing a “meet and greet” before the show, and it would an excellent time to meet me and say hello.  Drop in and pick up a copy of REKIHNDLED and I’ll autograph it for you.  I can’t wait for this one!  I’ll see you Friday night at Thunder Valley Casino for a double-barreled rock and roll extravaganza with Huey Lewis and the News and the Greg Kihn Band.  You can’t beat that!
