I recently had the dubious pleasure of watching the original black and white sci-fi creature features favorite REVENGE OF THE CREATURE (1955) staring John Agar. I love old black and white sci-fi movies. I never miss them when they’re on TV usually late at night when nobody’s paying attention. REVENGE OF THE CREATURE was originally issued in 3D in the theaters. I used to go to all those movies when I was a kid growing up in Baltimore. They were great in 3D with those cheesy cardboard 3D glasses. REVENGE OF THE CREATURE is the second in the CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON series. The last one is THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US. I used to collect vintage movie posters back in my rock star days, and I still have a few left. My favorite is the original CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON. You’ve got to hand it to The Creature, AKA The Gill Man; he’s always got a beautiful woman in a one-piece 1950’s bathing suit in his arms. Let’s face it, the Gill Man was horny. He loved young sexy scientists. He was gaga for 23-year-old oceanographers who looked like models. In every poster, he’s got a beautiful woman in his arms. I love the old style painted artwork too; it’s so colorful and outrageous.
Back in my bachelor days, I had the original CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON poster framed in my living room. It was prominently displayed. People would walk into my bachelor pad and know a maniac lived there with just one glance at my walls. That poster is in a box in the garage now, there’s no place for it in the same universe with my wife. But I still love it.

I love Oldies as well, haven’t seen that one in such a long time.
That’s a classic
I love this movie, one of my all time fav’s.
